Growing Roots Homeschooling now empower you to educate your child in the safety of your own home environment without the child having to endure unnecessary stress and spend more quality time with your family!
You will now ensure that your child receives one-on-one contact for each lesson and thereby receive the personal attention and love that only a parent can provide!
You will be able to ensure that your child can read properly, and he/she can understand the meaning of the words. You will also ensure that your child is able to understand mathematics.
To successfully complete the grades are less complicated as each term is immediately assessed when completed and the learner then continues with the work for the following term.
Learners with learning difficulties or leaners that need a longer time span to complete the work and learners that are hard of hearing will definitely benefit by utilising homeschooling.
Learners with an approved concession for dyscalculia (exemption from mathematics) must choose a seventh subject in the place of mathematics. We can help you with a concession application before enrolling with us.
Growing Roots Homeschooling (Pty) Ltd. is a registered South African Homeschooling Service Provider. We provide a CAPS based curriculum with subjects in English and Afrikaans, for Grade R to Grade 9. Our Study Bundles can easily be delivered throughout South Africa, but also to
Ex-Pats overseas.
(CAPS – (National) Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement).
Our CAPS based curriculum complies with the requirements of the South African Department of Education. There will be no need to roll-over the curriculum.
Our Study Model provides each learner with all the books when registering with us. Under normal circumstances learners will therefore complete each term and then continue with the following term without dely.
Our all-inclusive Study Bundles provide you with the academic information, study material, tests and answers, assessments, detailed planned lessons, comprehensive informative guidelines in our teacher’s guides and learner's books.
After completion and conducting your evaluation of the work for each term, the books are sent to us to be formally assessed. - Assessments are found in the Learner's Books and answers are provided in the Teacher's Guides.
When the subjects for a specific term have successfully been completed and assessed, a Progress Report is provided for each individual term, followed by the Year-end Report that will reflect the results of all four terms.
Assessment of each subject is conducted by us to ensure that an acceptable standard is maintained throughout the year. - You will never have to buy any other external assessment program.
The CAPS based curriculum provides a learner with the opportunity to register with universities and colleges in South Africa.

1 - Deposit for the Year followed by 10 x monthly instalments.

Homeschooling does not take all that much of your time, because every parent must take time out to help the child with schoolwork anyway and to ensure that the work is properly completed for the day. We can help you to compile a daily / weekly program to ensure that the learner does not lack behind academically.
The CAPS curriculum utilized by Growing Roots Homeschooling remains relevant from
Grade R to Grade 12. You will never have to change curriculums in order to register for the National Senior Certificate.
The CAPS curriculum can pave the way for any learner to register at a university or college after the NCS has been acquired. The learner must however ensure that the registration requirements of the academic institution are met. Many universities locally and overseas are providing distance education via the internet today. It is the future!
Given the safety factor and high cost of education today which include the purchasing of school uniforms, payment of school fees, school residence fees, regular money collections, transport and activities to generate even more funds, to name only a few, Growing Roots Homeschooling offers you a substantial financial saving and peace of mind by utilizing our Homeschooling model.
We provide academic and administrative support to each parent/tutor to ensure that the learner can develop as a person and therefore obtain knowledge and skills of the highest standard. We can help you plan your program for the year. You will also be kept informed of any new developments.
Just because your child can enjoy homeschooling does not mean that he/she must live in total seclusion. Homeschooling enables your child to develop a specific talent and to pursue a real interest or hobby on a more full-time basis. Our personal experience was that we were able to partake in something that we found to be of great interest to us, and still is.
